This is about elephants. 
Let me explain. Years ago I was on my motorcycle at a locality named Lester
which is south of Ganmain, between there and Wagga, with a friend who was in
her vehicle. She told me, and I believed her, that there were giraffes in a
paddock there.

We stopped and walked across a disced paddock towards a wooded area, Lester
rough range, although it has a made up name now, and in the distance, in
front of us, and hopefully in another paddock, there was an elephant, fully
grown although not a bull size, but I know elephants having been to
kindergarten, and this was one. It saw us  and walked, then ran at us. It
was in another paddock, behind a fence of much higher wire and robust
construction, but it made contact with the fence at the last moment and this
caused the whole thing to sway somewhat*. I took photographs and we left the
area, at an angle to keep an eye on it, and swearing somewhat, although
today it would be omg.

That paddock, and others near it, was used by the Zoo (Sydney?) to quieten
animals, feed them up and socialise them. The Zoo people refused to say if
there was an elephant, one or more, or for that matter, anything much of
what was kept or happened there, apart from the socialising aspect. 

I didn't see a giraffe, they're pretty tall and I feel if one had have been
there it would have been seen, again I have been to kindy so I know this.
