[AusRace] The Tinook - a system

It originated in USA - hence the name they said (which explains nothing)

My name alternative might be 'The overuse of adjectival phrases and an
inflated opinion of oneself' - a system

But, boy, does it pick winners, and runners with big dividends that place,
and win often - them
The best inventions are simple, ordinary and out-of-sight. This is that -
them
This won't make you rich, what you do with your money after the race is
over, that is the question - them

My copy was purchased from a punter outside a racecourse in Maryland USA for
$10 - he needed the fare to get home.

This isn't the only variation of the system, see below for selection
details, but other new named versions show the selection from the TAB number
input, the rank of the dividend (1st=favourite), the order of preference
controlled by the weight plus the dividend, the TAB number, the post number
(barrier, I think), weight and the preference order of the morning line.

Class: its involvement is categorised by the use of the TAB number input -
meaning TAB 1 is classy on account of it being associated with the biggest
weight. Big weight = higher class.

Form: all of the form aspects are incorporated in the dividend showing for
this runner. Thousands of fellow horseplayers have calculated, added, summed
and deducted and put down their money on the result of that and now you see
the result of all that math, the dividend available.

True incorporation of all aspects can only be shown when the values are
MULTIPLIED (NOT added)

Either rank the dividends lowest to highest, from 1 to two to three etc or
do as the results have done use the dividend value and multiply that with
the class aspect (the TAB number) - you will get a different aspect most
times eg MR7 today TAB number 11 times win rank number 1 = 11 but TAB number
11 times dividend 3.60 equals 110.36

The premium version uses the 'barrier' value as the third multiplier but as
an exclusion. If, after MULTIPLYING, the TAB number and the dividend value,
then the barrier value is used to MULTIPLY that product but only if it keeps
the resulting value at the SAME rank. EG Tab one times shortest dividend =
one. Now if the barrier for TAB one is 12, and that twelve is used as a
multiplier the value for this subject runner would be 12. That 12 may
elevate this horse over another runner, say 2 times 2 times two = 8. If that
should happen DO NOT USE THE BARRIER ASPECT for that runner, the one time
leader of selection. This is important and records show it will move your
selection to an area of low probability. I know, I have read it a couple of
times (and typed it too). The author means do the TAB number times dividend
value and rank that from lowest to highest. Then multiply those values by
the barrier number and record the result. If the ranks stay the same (1st
now and 1st back then) that is good. If the ranks move, 1st to 3rd say, or
4th to first maybe then don't use it...

Anyway that's it Tinook

Summary: Multiply the TAB number with the dividend ranked number then choose
the best from that- that's what I did, anyrate

Some examples Today MR7 Ttab 11 * fav position 1 (the fav) = 1 *11 = 11 WON
Pres De Toi
MR9 Tab 8 * Fav Position 1 = 8 WON Fly on By

Another way - probably not

Cheers

Tony
