Especially for those who bet win.<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>In this case the scratchings are staggered, at 6
different times after I bet, each time market re-jigged and so
subsequent scratchings are at a smaller price than when I bet, and deductions are thus greater than they would be if all were
scratched at the one time. Repeated 5 times. <br /></div><div><br /></div>To be fair the deductions should be based
on the price when the punter bet, not on a lower price in a different
market. But that's too hard for them to do, and anyway not desirable from their point of view. <br /><p> </p><br /><blockquote><br />----- Original Message -----<br /><div style="width:100%;background:rgb(228,228,228);"><div style="font-weight:bold;">From:</div> "LB.Loveday" <lloveday@ozemail.com.au> "AusRace Racing Discussion List" <racing@ausrace.com></div><br /><div style="font-weight:bold;">To:</div><racing@ausrace.com><br /><div style="font-weight:bold;">Cc:</div><br /><div style="font-weight:bold;">Sent:</div>Tue, 09 Aug 2022 06:23:33 +0800<br /><div style="font-weight:bold;">Subject:</div>[AusRace] Quirindi 7<br /><br /><br /><div>Just 4 runners left out of 16.</div><div><br /></div><div>I backed #6 for the place at $4.20 with 3 divs.</div><div><br /></div><div>The deductions with Sportsbet are 96%, which means if it runs 1-3, I win 17c for each $ invested, lose the lot if it comes 4th.</div><div><br /></div><div>Bad enough, but what if I'd bet the win (then 13.0, now 2.70)?
