If both systems work Tony, why wouldn't you set up two accounts and trade them separately?

On Mon, 18 Jul 2022 at 12:19, Tony Moffat <tonymoffat@bigpond.com> wrote:

Previously I posted about "Actons Best", its rules and regulations and the
interference encountered by its author when wearing different hats.

See:

*This new system "Flight" which has drawings of finches on the cover is
almost the opposite.

Some rules - Flight

The jockey this race has to be different, better qualified.
The jockey can be the same if they have won on the runner.

The distance this race has to be different
The distance can be the same if it won at that distance

*The weight this race has to be different although that is a no or a yes if
it won last start - they write that about the weight change after a win but
the instruction is not mentioned in the rules!.

*The pre-race price (the morning line) has to be 9/1 or longer in any event?
- which gets a mention in the explanation but does not get a line in the
rules!.

MR8 12 Hello Broadcast won - new/different jockey, weight 61.5/58 -
apprentice 3, 1400/1200m, $35 - $23.90/6.40

There is a problem
(a) It doesn't work because
(i) It won't
(ii) It's flawed is so many ways
(iii) I'm doing it wrong(ly) - meaning both, Flight and Actons Best.

Look, I could, and can, cherry pick any number of winners at good prices
(meaning over $4) but the number of non-successful picks between may make
the method(s) unworkable. Or something.

Summary: Actons Best gets its selections from runners that have
characteristics almost unchanged from its last race -so same jockey,
distance, weight. It's as if the team know this runner can do this.

"Flight" gets its selections from runners who have changed characeristics in
its races from last start to this start - so different (better?), weight up
or down, distance out or back. It's as if the team are searching for the
correct elements to allow it to run into the money, and win.

Another way - maybe not

Question - is anybody here using Punters Intelligence data?

Cheers

Tony
