[AusRace] TAB criminals, again

Wellington 4 today. #17 was 5th emergency and always likely to be eliminated. It was also the short price favourite, so deductions would be large.

Shortly before 8am it was crunched across the board. Why?

(a) Punters loading up on it? Whatever for? It was not going to get a run.

(b) A bookmaker or 2 ensuring higher deductions which are based on the price of scratched runners at the time of scratching and the rest following?

(c) Please enlighten me!
