Although the first bet in a series is for a win!

Initially this was titled 'Practical Proposition Plan' from Punting For
Profit authored by 'Bluegum'.

Rule (1) - choose your races - 1,3,5,7 are used in the book

Rule (2) - The first bet in Race 1 is the market number 1 for a WIN - stop
betting if it wins or continue to Rule 3 if it does not (win)

Rule (3) - If the first bet did not WIN, the market no. to bet for up to the
remaining 3 races is chosen as follows:
OBSERVE WHICH MARKET NO. DID IN FACT WIN RACE NO.1
Now if it was between 2 & 5 inclusive, SUBTRACT 1 and bet this as a Market
no. in the next race/s. EG.
Mkt 2 wins race 1.....bet Mkt 1 next race/s
Mkt 3 wins race 1.....bet Mkt 2 next race/s
Mkt 4 wins race 1.....bet Mkt 3 next race/s
Mkt 5 wins race 1.....bet Mkt 4 next race/s

Should Mkt. Nos. 6,7,8 or 9 win race 1, DO NOT SUBTRACT; just bet the SAME
NUMBER in the next race/s.

Should Mkt. no. 10, OR ANY HIGHER, win race 1, always bet Mkt. No.1 in the
next race/s.

Canberra R3 Mkt 1 placed $1.40 - stop betting this market
Doomben R1 Mkt 1 lost. Mkt 2 won, subtract 1, bet Mkt 1 next race
Doomben R3 Mkt 1 won $1.10
W Farm SR1 Mkt 1 lost Mkt 3 won, subtract 1, bet Mkt 2 next race
W Farm SR3 Mkt 2 lost, bet Mkt 2 next race
W Farm SR5 Mkt 2 placed $1.40 - stop betting this market
AR1 Mkt 1 lost, Mkt 4 won,deduct 1, bet MKT 3 next race
AR3 Mkt 3 won, $1.50 - stop betting this market
MR 1 Mkt 1 won $1.60 - stop betting this market
Belmont R1 won $1.60 - stop betting this market
Happy Valley R1 Mkt 1  lost, Mkt 2 won, subtract 1 bet Mkt 1 next race/s
Happy Valley R3  Mkt 1 Sure Joyful - waiting (and reading the luck
attracting names of the other runners)

There are detailed staking  plans explained also - Plan 3 uses 
1 unit first bet, unit * 5 second bet (in Race 3), unit *10 (in race 5),
unit * 20 (in race 7)
So my bets would be 5,25,50,100 = $180 (and hoping for $1.80 to balance the
books)
