Koa was allocated stall 2 but didn’t start there – the next vacant outside that is 11 which was allocated to a scr.

Barrier 3 won and barrier 1 came second.

Jockey for Koa was nominated for Dream Weaver (E1) as well and balloted out as a result. Dream Weaver was to start from 11 and I’m guessing Koa done that, as they say. All that mental arithmetic and everybody sober.

More problems for a mere punter.

 

Don't know how I'll know the definite result of Darwin 4. #7 Koa ran (well there was a #7 in the replay that the caller called Koa), and TRB and Racing Australia show it coming 12th. But TAB show it a late scratching at 17:50, 31 minutes after scheduled race time, as do a number of bookmakers, except Sportsbet show it coming 12th. Dynamic Odds show it as a late scratching.

 

Hopefully Stewards report will clear it up, but .....
