[AusRace] QLD Government

Tony,

That scam seems to be used all over.

The UK Government recently announced a 10% National Insurance tax was to be raised to 13.5%.

The shape shifters announced “a modest 3.5 percentage point rise”.

You’d hardly notice it.

The reality is that it is a whopping 35% rise, paid by businesses and staff.

Lucky that education has been so much cut to the bone that 90% of adults in the UK are now innumerate and 25% illiterate.

Robert

I know I have told this a million times before but:

and the others by the author are really good at explaining how inaccuracies have become part of our vocabulary (actually, it is probably more than a million, truly)

As usual, the Qld politicians misrepresent:

"The Queensland government and Racing Queensland announced on Monday an increase to the state’s point of consumption tax, with it rising five per cent from 15 per cent to 20 per cent."

Way back, in primary school that was a 33% rise, not 5%.
