One of theirs is the distance and weight rules.

(a)In a race beyond a mile the selection cannot be going up in distance and
rising in weight (apprentice excluded).
It can do either, not both though. Better, best, is if the selection is
carrying the same (or less) over the same distance (or less).

Today, at MR7, it would seem there was an alignment of the forces. Five
runners had the necessary attributes, same or less weights and distance,
And four of them ran into places. The fifth was scratched

 To assist with the alignment comment there were 4 place getters with
dividends. Win 5.50/2.05, 3.80, 6.00, 5.50.

Easy game, eh?
