Actually, physically Female jockeys have wider bums than their Male counterparts.
It takes a keen eye and the right angle to see the difference, but it is there.

My wife has proven very adept at identifying female jockeys from a SKY broadcast on a laptop screen. She knows even less than I about who is M or F or
 who is riding what and cares just as little, but she reckons females get their bums up higher. I'd guess that's due to females extra flexibility, or maybe she's just fluking it.
