Unfortunately, this now has developed into self- feeding madness, largely driven by the idiotic media, which again, fails to deliver balanced reports.

As from this morning, Australia has 454 confirmed cases in a population 0f 24.6 million with 5 deaths.

More will contract and die of ‘standard’ flu strains this coming winter.

Yes, it’s real and it’s contagious capabilities is like nothing we’ve witnessed before, however, it is not the Spanish Flu which wiped out half the planet back in the day.

The whole panic buying issue on what is actually happening here is human stupidity in the extreme.

Einstein was on the money when he stated “ There are two infinites in this life, the universe and human stupidity” and he wasn’t sure about the universe.

Strange how Hong Kong have been chugging along ok for a month or so now and yet everyone else is jumping at shadows.

The reaction in the west particularly has been risible.

Anyone remember the Y2KY thing.

This is assuming the same proportions.

A non- event hysteria.

The postponement marks the first time the Derby will not be held on the first Saturday in May since 1945. It was postponed in June 1945 when the government issued a ban on horse racing due to World War II.
