It was quite sad to see on TV last week prior to the Neil Daniher Big Freeze
for MND AFL game the Ball was carried onto the ground and presented to the
Umpires by a good friend, known to some Ausracers, as former Horse Trainer
Terry Roles from Deloraine Tas.

 

Terry is now struggling with MND having switched from horse Training to Aged
Care Nursing several years ago.

 

Deloraine has produced Champion Trainers and Jockeys over the years
including the late Tom McCauley, Max Baker, "Froggie" Newitt Terry Roles..

 

There is also an MND Raceday coming up in August for another old friend of
mine the late Ross Maclean organised by his son Jeff at the Gold Coast Turf
Club.
