She didn't, sis. I once collected a pile of elephant manure for her, and watched as several pounds or more of it tumbled the 9 feet to the ground then took my collection, in the cane laundry basket, and put this under the kitchen table. Apparently I wasn't funny, foolish perhaps, but she saw the humour in it especially when re-telling the incident to her Bridge friends, they though it was hilarious, as was I, by association. The roses benefitted so all good. WilliamHill (RIH) used to do the same to me (and plenty of others), displaying reduced odds across the board - one set when I accessed the site, all changed when I logged on, but at least at MBL time offered the correct odds. Complaints to racing NSW of course went unheeded - I accept they can knock back bets pre-MBL time, but the legislation prohibits offering different odds to different punters. William Hill used to run WA's fixed odds, don't know who is now, but from the prices, it's not Crown. Same thing. Fixed price 5.50 I was rushed and went click click click and didn't really think that the price could change. Lock and load. I rechecked because I saw something wasnt right. Sure enough I got $2.54. It won. It wasn't a large wager. The Mega Jackpot is currently in big positive mathematical expectation territory: 200,000 tickets sold @ $5.50 = $1,100,000 4218 prizes from $200,000 to $12, = $314,725 + 8436 free tickets, say $3 each rather than $5.50 = $25,308 $52,000,000 jackpot with 4,218/200,000 probability of being won = 52,000,000*4,218/200,000 = $1,096,680 Total 314,725 + 25,308 +1,096,680 = $1,466,239 So it's a 1,466,239/1,100,000 = 1.33 game, viz a positive expectation of 33%. And where there is a +33% expected return, count me in! The launch of the branded bet365 card in New Jersey - where sports betting has only recently been legalised - will be the 13th branded reloadable prepaid program in the gaming industry EML is managing across Australia, Europe, the UK and the US. Shares in EML rose by 22 cents, or 12.6 per cent, to $1.96 on the ASX at 1055 AEST on Tuesday - up 62 per cent from $1.21 a year ago. Under the agreement, EML will give bet365 customers a reloadable card to both remit funds into their gaming account, alongside the existing ability to access winnings. The initial program in New Jersey is expected to launch in mid-2019 following regulatory approvals. The partnership has the potential to expand as bet365 moves into other US states, EML said on Tuesday. bet365 is recognised as the world's largest online sports betting company, with revenues of more than $US3 billion and 4,000-plus employees. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
