Had another look at the reply and the short back and sides Star Witness copped once already beaten increased the beaten margin I would say.

Well, it just seems to me that, at present, any old trainer can bring a horse from Melbourne to Sydney (or vice versa) regardless of whether they have done any work whatsoever to ensure that the horse will handle the new way of going - making whether they do or whether they don't a complete lottery, and giving the whole thing a very amateurish feel.  Not only that, a horse that doesn't handle the new way of going could be very dangerous for the other horses and jockeys involved.  I don't make my comments from a personal perspective; I didn't lose money on either of these horses.  I just think a sport that pretends to be professional should actually be professional.  These flops are anything but.
