[AusRace] Don't get the idea ...

Unfortunately since her death I over-rode the tape she made me of the
complete accountof her approach. As I remember it she had a sort of formula,
one and a half (6-4), the next horse 2-1 or backed in to 5-2 with more
three/four points between it and the next. I wish I could cover the next
rule because it was the only one I actually won on. It predicted when
something longer would win. Perhaps some of the ausracers with an in-depth
appreciation of market moves might be able to add their thoughts. I have
regretted taping over her tape whenever I go back to racing because I became
so confident with this rule that I won fairly on it. The one-and-a-half and
two-and-a-half sticks in my mind, though.
Incidentally, I personally think computer ratings have changed the market
radically. I don't know that I'd right but I do know that I was in on the
very early days of Scott, having just completed a computer data analysis
course, the returns I was getting on the exotics (even with Scott's top
rated coming in second or third) I can't believe the small dividends such
would pay these days...
Louise

Hi Louise,

Takeover Target versus Apache Cat probably a suitable race for her with 2/1
easily obtainable on each?

There is also the tale of the gentleman from the nursing home cleaning up on
The Doncaster over the years with real big bets.
